Young Eagles Take-off
Mon. Aug. 19th, 2019
What better way to celebrate National Aviation Day than giving kids their First Flight! The Young Eagles Program is sponsored by our own EAA members because they believe everyone should experience the freedom of flight. Enter here to sign up and learn more. Your adventure awaits!
Vic Erickson was one of our legendary pilots. He flew Corsairs in the pacific during WWII, set the record for the longest flight, and flew the “Sunsetter” (Corsair) that currently resides in the Smithsonian’s Air and Space Museum. His exciting stories left an impression on us, and we’d like to share them for others to enjoy.
Vic is just the start. Everyone has a story! Enter here to meet our Aitkin Flyers. We expect this section will be ever expanding as we continue to honor our members.
